Set up account recovery in the LastPass Password Manager app to reset your master password using biometrics or a password hint if you forget it. This security feature allows you to restore vault access on your mobile device without contacting LastPass Support.
Note: You must log in to the LastPass Password Manager app with your email address and master password before you can set up account recovery using biometrics.

Regardless of how you use LastPass (desktop app, browser extension, mobile app), LastPass strongly recommends that you set up mobile account recovery in case other recovery options are not able to be used.
After you set up and enable this feature, you can reset your master password using biometrics on your current mobile device to regain access to your vault. If you didn't enable this option during initial setup, you can turn it on later in the Security settings of the LastPass Password Manager app. You can also recover your account using a password hint that you created when you set up or last reset your master password.
Important: LastPass Support has no knowledge of a user's master password. It is not possible for LastPass Support to reset or change a user's master password if it is forgotten.
Note: If you are concerned that your LastPass account has been compromised, follow these steps.
