Using Passkeys with LastPass
Can I have multiple passkeys for the same website?
Yes, but only one passkey can be saved in LastPass for each account on that website. For example, if you created multiple passkeys for a website, you can store a passkey in your LastPass vault and store another passkey in a different service. You can log in to the website using the passkey saved in your LastPass vault or with the passkey you stored in a different service.
Can I have LastPass ask for additional verification when logging in with a passkey?
Yes. You can configure your passkey settings to ask your master password when logging in with a passkey by following the instructions in Enable additional user verification for passkeys.
Can I import existing passkeys to LastPass?
No. The private key of a passkey is stored directly on your device.
Can I import a passkey to LastPass from another password manager?
No. For security reasons, passkeys cannot be imported and they must be re-created manually in LastPass.
Managing Passkeys
How can I update or reset my passkey?
You can update or reset your passkey only by deleting the existing passkey and creating a new one.

Should I delete my password if I use a passkey to a site?
No. If you cannot use your passkey for some reason or if you deleted your passkey from your LastPass vault, you will still be able to log in to your site using your password.
