New to LastPass? What Helped You Get Started With Personal Security?

I’ve talked to a few friends who are brand new to password managers and LastPass, and I’m putting together some helpful tips for beginners. Based on LastPass’s guidance, the most important first steps seem to be:

1. Install LastPass on your devices (browser extension + mobile).
2. Log in to the browser extension at least once so everything syncs.
3. Add a few important logins to start: email, banking, social media.
4. Turn on multifactor authentication — LastPass supports advanced MFA options.
5. Check out the Security Dashboard to see where passwords can be improved.

For anyone here who started with the free or Premium plan before upgrading to Families or staying solo:
