These Rules of the Road help keep our community welcoming, helpful, and safe for everyone. By participating in the community, you agree to follow these guidelines.
1. Be Respectful
Treat all members with courtesy. Healthy debate is welcome, but personal attacks, harassment, discrimination, or intimidating behavior are not allowed. Focus on ideas—not individuals.
2. Keep It Constructive
Share feedback, ask questions, and contribute solutions in a helpful way. Stay on topic and keep conversations focused on the community’s purpose.
3. Protect Privacy
Do not share personal or sensitive information—yours or anyone else’s. This includes account details, private messages, contact information, or anything confidential.
4. Follow the Law and Platform Policies
Posts must comply with applicable laws and the platform’s terms of use. This means no illegal, harmful, or misleading content, and no copyrighted material unless you have the right to share it.
5. No Spam or Self‑Promotion
Avoid posting advertisements, marketing messages, or unsolicited promotions. Sharing resources is fine if they’re relevant and genuinely helpful—not for sales.
6. Do Not Discuss Billing Concerns
Please follow directions within the "Report a billing issue" support article to reach Customer Support for all billing inquiries.
7. Use Clear, Honest Communication
Be genuine and transparent in how you present information. Do not impersonate others or provide intentionally false or misleading content.
8. Keep the Community Safe
Report concerning behavior, inappropriate posts, or suspicious activity. Community managers may take action to maintain a positive environment.
Moderation & EnforcementTo keep the community healthy, moderators may take action when rules are broken. This may include:
1. Friendly Reminder
For minor issues, a moderator may send a note explaining what needs to be corrected.
2. Content Edits or Removal
Posts that break the rules may be edited or removed at the moderators’ discretion.
3. Temporary Account Restrictions
If behavior continues, a member may lose posting privileges for a period of time. This helps prevent further disruption while giving the member space to reset.
4. Permanent Ban
In cases of repeated violations or severe misconduct, the community may remove a member permanently. This step is used sparingly and only when needed to protect the community.
If You Are BannedIf your account is temporarily or permanently banned:
- You will receive a short explanation of the reason
- You may lose access to posting, replying, or logging in (based on severity)
- In some cases, you can appeal by contacting the community team
- Repeated violations after reinstatement may lead to permanent removal
Banning is not punitive—it’s meant to keep the community safe and productive for everyone.
Our Promise to YouModerators aim to:

- Be fair, transparent, and respectful
- Support open, thoughtful discussion
- Make the community a welcoming place for all
