I searched this community for "chrome extension stops working" before posting. Everything that comes back is a year or more old. Nothing current, which is strange, because this is happening constantly right now and people are talking about it all over Reddit.
Here's the problem. The Chrome extension just quits. The icon goes from red to gray, and once it's gray, it's dead. The only fix I've found is going into the extension settings, toggling it off, then toggling it back on. Every time.
This is not one bad machine. It's happening on a MacBook, a Mac Mini, and a Windows desktop. Three computers, two operating systems, same failure.
The extension is the product. If I can't fill a password in the browser, LastPass isn't doing anything for me. I'm a paying subscriber and I've been working around this for almost a month.
So I have two questions for anyone from LastPass reading this??? Is this a known bug, and what's the timeline on a fix? Not "we're looking into it." An actual answer.
