Hi, my father and I have been long time lastpass free users. My father passed away unexpectedly recently and we don't know his lastpass password.
I have access to his vault because it is connected and logged in via a browser snap-in but we want to secure the hundreds of passwords stored there and I need to help to understand the best way to do this.
We can't export (either from the snap-in nor the vault directly) because the master password is required. Lastpass free only allows sharing of 13 passwords which is insufficient. The password hint hasn't suggested anything obvious - I'm reluctant to try any repeated attempts to access the vault from another PC in case the repeated incorrect attempts trigger a backend forced logout.
I'm happy to upgrade to a family account or other premium level but I don't want to cause an unintentional log out/off of our only access.
Any advice on steps that would help me solve this problem would be really appreciated, thank you in advance.
