If LastPass was supposed to send you an email but you haven't received it, there are a few things you can check.
Remember: LastPass sends email notifications for various account activities, including blocked login attempts, trusted device verification, item sharing notifications, master password changes.
Check your login information
Check the login information you entered. Make sure that Caps Lock is not enabled and that your keyboard input language is correct. Try to log in again with your email address and master password, then check your inbox for a verification email.
Check your security email address (if you specified one)
If you have set up a security email address, check the inbox of that as the email may have been sent there instead.
Important: The security email address is where emails will be sent (instead of your account email address) if you are trying to access LastPass from a new device, location, or IP address, or if you are sending yourself a master password hint during the account recovery process.
Check your spam/junk email filter
Add the following email addresses to your email filter's allowlist, then prompt LastPass to send you another email.
- do-not-reply-support@lastpass.com
- noreply.support@lastpass.com
- support-replies@lastpass.com
Attention: If you use Hotmail or Outlook.com as your email service provider, be sure to add the email addresses above to your allowlist.
Additionally, ensure that your email filter has allowed the following email domains:
- @lastpass.com
- @sendgrid.com
- @m.lastpass.com
- @t.lastpass.com
- @ar.lastpass.com
- do-not-reply@mail.lastpass.com
- no-reply@drata.com (send now)
Notice: This email address is only used for sending documents that require a signature for a non-disclosure agreement from the LastPass Compliance Center. View Use the LastPass Compliance Center for additional details.
Check your email notification settings
You can review your email notifications subscriptions to confirm you didn't unsubscribe from the email you expected to receive.
Check for emails in unexpected languages
For emails sent to you by admins in LastPass Business or LastPass Teams, the admin might have sent the email in a different language than you expected. The email will be sent in the same language as that of the admin's LastPass. For example, if the admin's LastPass is displayed in French, the email sent will also be in French.
