SET UP BACKUP TEXT MESSAGES

Question

I want to activate my LastPass Authenticator with my windows (Hello) key  but i get this message, "For security reasons, the ability to send text messages has been suspended for this account. Please try again later". at SET UP BACKUP TEXT MESSAGES  step. Any one can help me what should I do for this.

Thank you Hilda, the error gone but I never received the sms, my country code and number format is +37444####23, also i need to mention the sms for Recovery Phone was received.

Thank you for reaching out in out Community. The message you're seeing — "For security reasons, the ability to send text messages has been suspended for this account", is a security measure LastPass applies when too many SMS requests have been made in a short period, or when the system flags unusual activity on the account.

The suspension is temporary. Please wait up to 24 hours since the last attempt you made, and attempt the backup SMS setup again.

If the suspension persists beyond 24 hours, our support team can investigate and manually clear it on the account. You can reach us by creating a support case at LastPass Support.
