Export = 0 bytes

I've tried on my Omnibook Ultra , and my Elitebook G9.
The export process gets all the way to the end and writes a zero byte file.
Tried a variety of browsers, tried the web portal and the extension. Can get an export to function,
Reading here, it looks like this is a very common theme… maybe a fix is in order?
How can I get my passwords out of the tool?
I read there is a process by which you can trigger an export systemically from the back end? Anything that gets this over with would be most welcome!
Please advise.

I'm apologize for all the trouble exporting your data. I have completed some updates from my side, such as clearing the corrupted sessions and updating your account. I need you to follow these steps to complete the basic troubleshooting:

1. Uninstalling the extension
2. Clearing your browser's cookies and cache
3. Restart the browser
4. Reinstalling the extension from https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php
5. Open LastPass using the extension Use the LastPass browser extension
6. Try again to complete the export of your vault data
