How do I transfer the ownership of a LastPass Families subscription?

Families owners can transfer the ownership of their LastPass Families subscription to another member, regardless of their role.

Restriction: Only the owner of the LastPass Families subscription can do this operation. Learn how to check which role you have in LastPass Families.

1. Log in to LastPass and access your vault by doing either of the following:
   •  and select Vault.
   • Go to  https://lastpass.com/login/  and log in with your email address and master password.
2. Select Account settings in the left navigation menu.
3. On the General tab, locate Account Information.

5. On the Account Information page, in the Families Status group, select Transfer Families.
6. Select the new owner of this LastPass Families subscription

You will receive a partial refund based on the subscription's remaining time. The new owner will start a 30-day cost-free trial period, during which they can purchase a full subscription.
