Please remove my old LastPass account from my email address

Hello,

I created a LastPass account a while ago using my main email address, but I never really used it. Later, because I couldn't remember my master password, I created a new LastPass account using a different email address.

I would now like to use my main email address for my current LastPass account. However, I can't because my main email address is still linked to the old, unused account.

I still have full access to my main email address, but I no longer know the master password for the old LastPass account, so I can't log in or delete it myself.

Is it possible to remove or unlink the old LastPass account from my main email address so I can use it with my current account?

Thank you for reaching out in the Community. I understand you are looking to use your main email address with your current LastPass account. Since you no longer have access to the old LastPass account, you still can delete the account via email.

Please follow the next steps to delete the account via email:

1. Go to  https://lastpass.com/delete_account.php .
2. Select Delete.
3. When prompted, select No to indicate that you do not know your master password.
4. Enter your account email address, then select Send Email.
5. Check your inbox and select the link in the email from LastPass to confirm that you want to continue with your account deletion.
   Result: You are redirected to the Delete Your Account page.
6. Optional: Please provide the reason you are deleting your account and provide feedback.
7. Select Delete.
8. When prompted, select Yes > Yes > OK.
   Results: You have permanently deleted your LastPass account.
9. Wait a few minutes before updating your email address on your current account
