It’s surprising that the Families Account doesn’t support time-based one-time passcodes (TOTP). 1Password really outshines LastPass in this area, it makes ZERO sense that you can generate authentication codes directly from a business LastPass but not the families account.
Two-factor authentication is essential! Without it, the free LastPass Families for employees business bonus feels pointless—why would anyone use it?
Either allow employees to upgrade to include this feature or just give them this feature OTP is so common now, and by 2026 it’s an absolute must.
