Creating a Usage Rule

I would like to test a SaaS Protect usage rule, but I don’t want to apply it to all users initially. Instead, I’d prefer to target a specific group as part of a pilot before rolling it out organization-wide.

However, I’m unable to find the exact steps to configure this. I reviewed the available general policies with the intention of modifying one to fit this use case, but I couldn’t locate any policy related to application access restrictions.

Additionally, when I go to set up the usage rule, I do not see an option to specify whether it should apply to a specific group or to all users.

Am I looking in the wrong place, or is there a different approach I should be using?

Appreciate your time and your request, based on how SaaS monitoring works it will not let you select a specific group, it will only let you enable or disable but it will be for the entire organization. For more details on how to enable and how it works you can review this article: Enable SaaS Monitoring.

And for usage rules, it will also only let you activate the rule for the whole organization and not just a specific, however that can definitely be shared with our team to take into consideration for future updates.
