App and browser extension full of problems.
And no one helps you.
I will never upgrade to premium.
There are better password managers.
'Last pass' is crap
Hello @andrea.virelli,
My name is Alejandra and I am happy to assist with your inquiry, and appreciate you contacting LastPass Support!
I apologize for the huge inconvenience this is causing you and that you have not been receiving the appropiate support. I have seen that most of the time this issue is related to a high volume of cache, cookies, or a sync issue on LastPass. I will recommend following these steps:
1. Clearthe LastPass cacheandrefresh sitesfrom the LastPass extension, log out
2. Proceed touninstall the LastPass extension, and clear cache and cookies (all time) on the browser (if you are using Chrome you can also only clear LastPass cookies here: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647?hl=en-GB&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop#zippy=%2Cdelete-cookies-from-a-site:~:text=Delete%20cookies%20from%20a%20site)
3. Close completely and reopen the browser, install the extension again, log back in, and verify if the issue persists
If the issue persists let me know.
Thank you,
Alejandra
LastPass Technical Support
I have the same problems. I know my master password and email, but I can't log in due to two-factor authentication because I have a different phone number now. No one is helping, only for paid accounts.
Thank you for this simple fix, "Clear Lastpass Cashe. I was at my wits end after a requested Password change. Nothing would work. no fills at every login page. I was checking other programs and didn't want to switch.
Thanks Alejandra for the help, give this person a raise, lol.

NO @Alejandra_LP, it didn't work.
I did exactly everything you advised.
It only worked for one day.
Today the problem came back.
Thank you for your follow up about the issue.
I apologize that the issue persisted. I will like to know which browser youa re using and what exactly is the issue you are experiencing or if you receive any specific error message?
I'll be waiting for the extra information.
The issue with having to sign in twice is a known issue to the users but LastPass so far will not acknowledge it. Several discussion threads for it here in the Community. Support has not been helpful at all.
See this discussion:
https://support.lastpass.com/s/question/0D5TP00000Mucij0AB/anyone-else-having-to-enter-master-password-twice-when-using-the-chrome-extensionseeing-this-across-our-org-the-first-master-password-entry-is-correct-but-the-users-are-just-sent-back-to-the-same-login-screen-the-second-attempt-always-works
Hi @Alejandra_LP, thanks
It happens to me that I always have to log in twice, with the authentication app.
I enter my master password, I accept the login on the authentication app (with fingerprint), but then it fails to log in and I have to enter the password again and accept again with the app!!!
This happens practically every day and every time I start the browser.
Even if I clear the cache, cookies and all personal data.
It happens on this browser in particular: Chrome 130.0.6723.70
On all the others everything works fine.
Thank you so much for the extra information provided.
For what I understand the issue is only on Chrome and is when you are requested to use your authenticator to confirm the login. I will suggest to maybe try to disable the authenticator and re-enable it or set up again maybe there is somethng between Google Chrome and the LastPass Authenticator that is not syncing properly. Try to disable the authenticator: https://support.lastpass.com/s/document-item?bundleId=lastpass&topicId=LastPass/LastPass_Authenticator_unpair.html&_LANG=enus and once that will be done proceed to set up it again: https://support.lastpass.com/s/document-item?bundleId=lastpass&topicId=LastPass/LastPass_Authenticator_set_up.html&_LANG=enus.
Then try follow the original steps mentioned:
2. Proceed touninstall the LastPass extension, and clear cache and cookies (all time) on the browser (if you are using Chrome you can also only clear LastPass cookies here:https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647?hl=en-GB&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop#zippy=%2Cdelete-cookies-from-a-site:~:text=Delete%20cookies%20from%20a%20site)
I'll be waiting for your reply.
I have followed those steps and was able to sign in with one try. Some things to note:
The having to sign in twice usually only happens on the first sign in of the day. Once I am in, if I sign out I can sign back in on the first try. This makes troubleshooting difficult. Signing in on the first try now does not mean this worked.
The real test will be when I sign in tomorrow. I will reply with an update after signing in tomorrow morning.
This morning I was back to having to sign in twice. I then signed out and signed in again, and I was able to get in on the first attempt. It seems to be something about the first sign in of the day.
