I am considering purchasing a family plan for me and my girlfriend. We are both free users of Lastpass.
When we combine the two accounts, do we see each other passwords?

No, you both still have your own personal vaults, but you can create a shared folder for specific sites you both need access to. Our Families FAQ has more details.
I bought my parents Lastpass Family and they have been using it for a while. My wife and I both have a free account which works well, but the Android apps stopped working so we need to upgrade. Since my parents have 6 license I figured we could just be added to their account but I want to make sure that they will not be able to take over my passwords. Not that I am worried about it, but they are not the most security minded people and if there account got hacked they couldn't get access to my passwords. Along with my personal vault I would like to cerate a folder shared between my Wife and Me. Am I the only one that can control the permissions on that folder or can the lastpass admin give themselves permissions?
