Yes I said Yes to the email.

Yes I checked my password is correct 6 times...and it works on the first try on my old machine.

I enter password and it simply re-prompts for email, no error message.

Since old machine works fine, reset seems unlikely to help.

Sure seems like a bug on their end, but they won't discuss their bugs unless I pay them.

Ideas?

Ok we have an answer, and a fix, and yes you have a bug on your site.

Website testing is my actual job for a few decades, so I might be right.

I had been going to one of my websites which I login to and then clicking your icon and trying to login to LP from there.

This is your bug....after a device change, you can't do the first login while trying to login to a customer's site.

So the fix is simply go directly to the LastPass site and login directly from there.

Worked on the first try.

I'm assuming everything will be good from this point.

I would appreciate it if you reported this bug.

Other details:

Yes I closed and restarted my browser.

Yes I checked my phone notifications looking for MFA, did not see any. Have not used LastPass in a while (BECAUSE IT IS A PAIN IN THE BUTTOCKS) but I assume I must not have set up MFA.

After reviewing your recent history I can see that you successfully confirmed the IP address today, then logged in from that IP shortly afterwards. I also don't see any multifactor authentication notices, if you had one set up.
