My login Masterpassword stopped working! I then tried any of the previous pawsswords I had used incuding any previous OTPs. Nothing works and I cannot get LastPassto work. I don't want to lose all of the webwite passwords I had in LastPass.

Mine no longer works with the Chrome Extension since I added encryption. I can only log in manually through the web app. Hope they fix this soon.

You've mentioned that your Master Password stopped working, and that attempts with previous passwords and OTPs have failed. I also see that the password recovery path hasn’t allowed you to reset or regain access.

Hi Luis,
I was able to get in through the web, but it is the Chrome extension that messes up the password as it encrypts it and I can’t use the extension on any sites so I have to manually cut and paste passwords from the web login. How do I turn off encryption or fix this?

Welcome to the LastPass Community.

If you are able to access the web version but not the extension due to the master password, it seems that your master password is saved in your browser.

That’s why the browser autofills it on the web version but not in the extension.

Please go to your browser settings, navigate to Passwords and Autofill, then open the Password Manager. Look for any saved LastPass credentials you should be able to find the master password there and copy it if needed.

Free users must choose between desktop or mobile devices, as only one will be supported.

After you sign into the LastPass app on any device your Vault will automatically load all items for you to access.
