How can I stop lastpass to not open 50-70 tabs asking me to login?

Question

When I'm not logged into Lastpass (happens almost daily due to me switching networks) between home and school then I'm logged out. When I'm logged out and just sitting on a website e.g. google.com then this pops up: 
https://ibb.co/xMXs8x7 and then after 5-10 secs, it opens a new tab and a new tab and a new tab up to the point where the browser become laggy unless I close them and login. This is real annoying and not a really great feature if you ask me. Its annoying and I will login if I want to login. How can I stop this from happening? It happened after a chrome update.

Please log directly into your account at lastpass.com in order to disable your MFA temporarily.  Once the changes are saved, then re-sync your MFA selections with the LastPass account, and let us know if the performance improves.

Can you please elaborate on the environment some more to help us understand the root causes?

What device are you using?

Which Yubikey model is currently in use?

What versions of Chrome and LastPass are installed?

* Chrome 132.0.6834.160 (Official Build) (arm64)
* LastPass extension 4.138.3
* I'm not sure what Yubikey model; I've had it for years and it has no identifying info on it

I think enabling the "Log out when all browsers are closed" option prevents the "bazillions of tabs" problem, but then I end up having to log in a lot more frequently.
