Update:
I have multiple logins to Comcast.net and I noticed that the password logins to my account work correctly and also can be edited and the changes saved as expected. But I have two password logins that link to my mailbox function instead of my home account. They login correctly but edit changes cannot be saved. Their [save] button is dead and has no effect. If I don't make any changes in the edit window the [cancel] button closes the edit window normally. However, if I make any change - even by typing an "x" in the Notes section - and [cancel] I am given the option [keep editing] or [discard]. In this case it makes no difference if the [cancel] is proceeded by pushing the [save] button.
I would conclude that the [save] is corrupted but it works to save edits on some password logins but not others. What would explain this?
