I may have been hacked and have lost my known Lastpass password and my email account password too.
My Lastpass is protected with:
This lost email address
My phone number for SMS
A hardware key for additional 2FA
When going through recovery, I get the OTP SMS on my phone and enter it, I pass so then I get the 2FA challenge with my hardware key and get past that too. The only thing I cannot see is the e-mail due to that password issue. So I know my previous Lastpass master password and want to just have Lastpass restore my account to that last master password. Trouble is, I cannot call and talk to a Lastpass human.
To talk to a human I have to log into Lastpass, well, how an I going to do that?
I Tried the revert to previous Master password link but it asks for my e-mail address that I cannot recover.
So catch 22, with both Lastpass and email password issues, I cannot find a way to recover.
I can pass 2 of the authenticate the user challenges, the cell SMS code and my hardware key - pretty obvious I am the account owner.
How in the World can I just talk to Lastpass and get them to revert to my old Master key that was in use only last week???
