Question

Some websites mightrequire different password for different sub-domains.The only option I have is to "Update" the existing password, which I don't want to do, I need to "Add" a new password.I can do it by going to my vault but that isn't optimal. The Add button should always be there

I think a better alternative is needed for this case. Amazon is a good example; Last pass should automatically add an equivalency rule for all Amazon (Retail) domains, like Amazon.com, .co.uk, .de, .com.br, etc; But, furthermore, to access AWS console one also would need to register a aws.amazon.com rule, that could turn into signin.aws.amazon.com or even <region>.signin.aws.amazon.com, like in us-east-2.signin.aws.amazon.com, us-east-1.signin.aws.amazon.com, etc;

A functionality to allow one to register a rule for domains using wildcards is *way* overdue, like in "*.aws.amazon.com"; Pretty simple , straight forward; Could be in advanced settings (like domain equivalency, host matching, port mapping, etc)

BTW, I have two entries here: one for amazon.com (with domain equiv manually added to all amazon domains that I use) and another one for aws.amazon.com, and exact host rules for www.amazon.com. aws.amazon.com and www.amazon.de, but whenever I access amazon.de both credentials are offered;

With the 'Host matching' functionality, the URL rule will only apply to the exact host name.

For example, if you have one set of credentials for

amazon.com and another set of credentials for one of its subdomains,shopping.amazon.com, you could specify a rule to only show credentials foramazon.com, when logging in, notshopping.amazon.com.
