Hello @joaoxborba
I apologize, that behavior is certainly not expected.
Can you say which device and web browser you are currently using with LastPass?
Have you attempted to clear the LastPass cache or test an alternate web browser?
If another browser works, can you confirm the problem browser does not have any competing password managers working in the background?
Have the same issue. Can't check most of my passwords, because always changing to the master password in Lastpass. The feeling is like loosing all your passwords saved in Lastpass. Fix this asap
Hello!
I cleared the cache and tested with Amazon password. Inserted the correct password, the under bar turned to yellow, but after 2 seconds it changed back to green again and the password to the master one.
This is happening for some time now and not with all safer box files.
I have the same issue here with the LastPass Chrome extension.
I can get the password of an entry by using the 'copy password' option in the context menu but it's being overwritten in the form to edit the entry after 2 seconds. So it is dangerous to save an entry where you have changed another item because the password will be lost.
If you are using Chrome as your primary browser with LastPass, please follow these steps to confirm:
I am having the same issue
Thank you AshC_LP, this appears to work.
@lisa.logan48 The reason you are seeing errors in the LastPass Vault is due to the conflicting action requests by both password managers. You will need to disable any conflicting autofill functions that compete with LastPass in order for our features to work properly.
Thanks for the replay @Ash CannonBut doesn't this mean that Google will no longer autofill passwords on sites I visit frequently? I find that functionality really helpful and don't really want to turn it off.
Thanks for the follow up @Ash CannonIt sounds like Last Pass isn't the right solution for me anymore then. It used to work fine. I'll look for another solution and move my passwords over.
If I follow your instructions for now, will my original passwords by returned so that I can access them to move them elsewhere? At the moment almost every one is showing as my master password so I've lost hundreds of saved passwords. As you can imagine this is rather inconvenient
@User17417866946876666303 IF the problem isn't related to the LastPass Vault cache, then things should normalize once competing autofill commands are stopped (like Google's password manager).
