I have a Lastpass account as ch***g@**mail.com. (account information obfuscated)
My password is correct as it was saved in another password safe and has not been changed since I last logged in. (I did have this as a LastPass premium account until at least 2015).
Here is what happens when I try to login (on Firefox):

This does not actually trigger an email to be sent to me. But if I click on Forgot Password - Hint (even though I did not forget it), I see the following Dialog:
We've sent a reminder to w***lia@***.de Be sure to check your spam folder. If you receive nothing, make sure the email you used is actually registered as a LastPass account.
I then also receive an email at ch***g@**mail.com with the following text:
LastPass Forgotten master password
We received a request to perform a secure operation for your LastPass account.
Check your 'Security Email' account to view the security notification.
My security email as stated in the previous dialog box is correct. Therefore I check w***lia@***.de , but I do not receive any Emails there from this Lastpass account. When I set up this ~security email~ years ago, the following was not a condition set by Lastpass: "make sure the email you used is actually registered as a LastPass account" and previous to today I did not have a Lastpass account at w***lia@***.de
- I did register a new Lastpass account at w***lia@***.de , but this did not make a difference, as I still do not receive any revovery emails for ch***g@**mail.comat w***lia@***.de . (The email address is functional though as I received a confirmation email from Lastpass for the new account w***lia@***.de .)
Next I tried Recover Account, which shows:
Look for an email from LastPass: ch***g@**mail.com. Follow the instructions to enable your local one-time password for account recovery.
and I receive the following:
LastPass account recovery request - We received a request to perform a secure operation for your LastPass account. Check your 'Security Email' account to view the security notification.
but again, Lastpass fails to actually send a recovery mail to w***lia@***.de
The account appears to be active as the dialog provides the pointer to the correct security email, but I cannot find any way to successfully login. The account was set up to require a TOTP second factor authentication, but Lastpass does not request it. I still have access to the correct authenticator.
How can I regain access to my account? How can this be fixed?
