Mail notification about subscription renewal(?)

I got an email from lastpass about a subscription renewal but I have automatic renewal enabled.

Why does Lastpass do this or was this not a valid email (I clicked the link)

A renewal notification email 30 days before your plan is set to renew/expire is standard. This gives you an opportunity to update your Billing Information if needed or disable auto renew if you do no want the account renewing for another year.
