Risks using LastPass extension in my work browser

I am allowed to add extensions to my browser at work. Before adding the LastPass extension I want to confirm that there is no risk of my passwords being compromised but doing so. My work does not use LastPass internally so there is no option to have a LastPass account using my work email address and linking it to my personal account.

I do not plan to use LastPass with any of my work accounts, just want to have it available if I am doing some browsing during lunch.

There should not be any negative impact by installing the extension. The decryption process when logging from the web or from the extension is the same. As long as you properly log out from the extension when no longer using it, you should be safe.
