I used Last Pass years ago and then stopped using it because I was still uncertain about the technology. I am trying to use a password manager once again now, because I think it is the wise thing to do, but I cannot remember my master password for Last Pass. When I tried to change the password it would not allow me to do so because I haven't used the account in many years, and none of my computers had it installed on them from that time and they have not been registered with the account.
That's when I thought I would just start a new account (since I don't think any of my passwords from the old account are the same anyway), but since I have already registered my previous account using my email address, I cannot sign up for a new account no matter how much I try, because it tells me that I have an account registered with my email address already, and since I cannot remember my master password nor can I recover the account, it seems that I am just plain out of luck for trying to sign up with your company.
I came to Last Pass because it comes highly recommended from independent reviews, but I'm about ready to just go to one of your competitors because I have no clue how to get a hold of anyone at your company to fix this problem and there doesn't seem to be any way for me to communicate with a person other than to post on this community so that I can figure out what I should do about my situation.
