Shared file can't be viewed by the other person

Question

Hello, I've shared an Excel file with a family member, and when they log in, they are given the option to Edit, which is greyed out for them, or Delete. They don't have the option to just View or Download the file, which is what I want. I also would like to know how I can set up the shared file so that they CAN edit it. I don't see that option on my end. Thanks!

She can installing the extension from

https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php

and Open LastPass using the extension, here are the steps of how to Use the LastPass browser extension. Once she opens the vault via the extension, she should be able to download the attachments.

Hi, I think she WAS logged in through the website, and I don't think she has the app, but I don't understand how she can download the attachment through the browser extension. Is there a tutorial somewhere or can you please walk me through that?

Welcome to the LastPass Community.

Excel files are a supported attachment file type.

Attachments cannot be opened when you are logged in to LastPass through the website only (that is, logging in to https://www.lastpass.com). You can only download attachments by logging in using the LastPass browser extension, desktop app, or mobile app.

Do you know how this person is using LastPass?
