Need Help: Edge Private Mode browser Extension Not Working

I've already posted that I wasn't happy with no Duck Duck go browser extension coming in the near future, now I log in to Edge in Private Mode and can't get the Lastpass extension to stay open. This is getting really really annoying. What is the fix for this please? I have checked and I have the latest update on Edge Private Mode.

Thank you for reaching out in our Community. At this time, LastPass is not supported on the DuckDuckGo browser. DuckDuckGo does not currently provide the browser extension framework required for LastPass to integrate, which means the LastPass extension cannot be installed or used within that browser.

About the issue you are experiencing with Microsoft Edge, I have completed some updates from my side, such as clearing the corrupted sessions and updating your account. I need you to follow these steps to complete the basic troubleshooting:

• Clear cookies and cache from your browser 
• Remove the extension
• Download the extension for the browser by going to the website  https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php . If the browser you are going to use is Safari, you need to download the extension from the store. 
• Log in again through the extension 
• Enable the extension for Private mode
• Make a test
