I hope this email finds you well. I have seen this issue normally is related to the latest update on the Google Chrome browser or the MS Edge browser. The password manager implemented on this browser overrides the LastPass information. To avoid this from happening I will need you to disable the password manager and then restart your browser and log out and log back in to LastPass. To disable Chrome password manager you can access here:https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95606?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&sjid=1155432526407349676-NA#zippy=%2Cstart-or-stop-saving-passwords:~:text=Start%20or%20stop%20saving%20passwords

Also if in the Google Password Manager passwords list you have LastPass please delete it from there and save it somewhere else or somewhere safer.

Hell Alejandra, thanks for your reply. I appreciate it.
LastPass was not correctly storing or displaying my items password. Instead of showing the actual password for my item password, it was showing the LastPass account password itself in the “My Items” section. Hope it make more sense for you to explore issues.

I have the same issue. When I go to a saved password, instead of showing me the password I created for a given website, it shows me my master password. For example: This morning I tried to find my password for ABC website. Instead of showing me the password, LastPass showed me my master password. This forced me to change the password to the website I was trying to access. After changing the password for ABC website, I tried to update the settings in Lastpass so that it will show my newly updated pw. LastPass would not allow me to save the new pw. It kept autofilling the pw field with my master password. I added a note to tell me the correct pw.

Hi Alejandra @Alejandra Amado,

I have the same issue. When I go to "All items" and choose one item to "Edit" to see the password the item password immediately changes to show the master password.

Can you please help with this issue how to solve it?
