Android legacy autofill removed? No way to autofill addresses & CC numbers?

Lastpass Android updated and now says "legacy autofill is removed, this won't affect your experience"… except that now the LastPass widget on quick settings I used for Chrome logins is gone, and I can't autofill in Chrome unless I switch my Chrome autofill to LastPass… which works fine for passwords BUT removes Chrome's address & payment autofill which I use heavily.

LastPass doesn't appear to support address/payment autofill for Chrome on Android so now… ????

I just want to make sure I'm not missing something before I cancel my sub and move to another PW manager. Removing legacy autofill before supporting address & payment autofill in parity with the Google PW manager was a huge mistake.

I see the same issue, and as you are exploring other options. It seems that all other password managers (I tested a few now) supports autofill of address and credit cards, but as you say, it does not work with LastPass on a phone. A pitty, but as you I am looking to change to another product - to me it reflects that LastPass does not have a undertsanding of this issue. They should have prioritized getting form and credit card fill done, before removing the legacy fill option.

I try my best to be respectful; however, is the company daft?

When has removing features ever been considered an enhancement? Don't do the proverbial business on our heads and day it's raining. I've supported and defended this company for a loooooooooooong time now and maybe too long. If you found a security issue and had to kill something because of it, say it. If you just want to force users into something new, say it. If you're GOING to force people into something new TEST IT.

We don't all use Chrome and you've effectively kneecapped me by removing what you call the legacy interface. The shop is fully updated, all settings are correct, and I can't fill password in my browsers now.

So just how had this 'enhanced' my experience or made things 'easier'? You've literally broken the functionality and now I need to manually reopen the app, search for accounts, and manually copy and paste the username and then back to cut and paste the password.

It's moves like this that encourage users to go shopping for new password managers.

I appreciate your viewpoint.

There were some decisions made to improve the user experience on Android, including LastPass' ability to autofill apps and credentials. Part of these changes were needed because of Android's increased permission requirements for mobile apps, and I'm sorry if you were negatively impacted.

What I can say is that further Android improvements are still coming, and I'll share your feedback with the development team.

We are working hard to develop autofill options for credit card and address fields in Android systems.

While I don't have a firm ETA, though I can say it's on its way.

100% agree with @useless.box, downgrade, making the app useless for android in many cases. If it doesnt change fast I'll definitely change to another manager.

Im also incredibly frustrated with this change as now literally every website that has a two-page login structure has made the app functionally useless. I now I have to manually open it (because you ALSO removed the ability to have a shortcut in my drop-down screen), log in, search for the website, hold to copy username instead of password, then go back to Firefox and paste, all to get it to go to the next page to most-of-the-time have inline password fill show up. However, it is still so unreliable that I just copy the password when I copy the username as its a 30% chance ill have to go back, reopen the Last Pass app, search for the site again, copy the password this time, go back to Firefox and HOPE that it didnt time out and refresh the page and I have to start all over.

Did anyone actually feature test and stress test this change? Because im about two more refreshes away from moving to a new platform both for my personal account but also my company's corporate account.
