I've found a bug in LastPass Firefox extension: 4.154.2

Question

When Firefox is configured to clear cookies and site data on exit, the

LastPass extension does not retain the setting "Log out when all

browsers are closed".

As a result, the extension automatically logs me back in after Firefox is

restarted, even though I have explicitly enabled the logout option.

Has anyone else experineced this?

I'm on the free versions, how do I report it?

It is true that if you block / rotate your IP address, then LastPass may ask you to log back in and verify the new device / IP address.

It's also important to remember to log back into LastPass if you clear the cache. This will ensure you have a recovery password available in case of emergency.

In the coming days, automatic logout functionality will be improved.  Please let us know if these improvements help your experience.

The problem I had was that the setting "Log out when all browsers are closed" was not getting saved between sessions. Consequently, Lastpass logged on automatically as Firefox opened - a disaster if my computer was stolen.

I spent about 2 hours with ChatGPT on this, and I may have the answer. If I set Firefox to delete cookies and delete all history, I get the auto-logon problem. But if I uncheck the "clear site settings" box Lastpass's behaviour returns to normal. Could that be the problem.
