With LastPass Enterprise, we have a Shared Folder with subfolders under it. When I right-click the subfolder > rename > save, I get "Error: Invalid Response". Is this a known bug? I have the proper permissions.
Hello! @Ray Thomas
If the problem is still happening, let’s try a clean reinstall. Please follow these steps carefully:
1. Remove the LastPass extension
○ Open your internet browser.
○ Go to the extensions/add‑ons section.
○ Find LastPass and remove it.
2. Turn off other extensions
○ If you see any other extensions installed, please turn them off (disable them).
○ This helps avoid conflicts.
3. Clean your browser
○ Clear your browser data (cache and cookies).
Now let's clean your internet browser cookies and cache, let's go to the top right corner, click on the 3 dots, then go to Clean Browsing Data, make sure the time frame is set on ALL TIME, and just mark your Cache and cookies, once done,
It will require to restart the browser, and that will close this chat.
○ Once that’s done, close and reopen your browser.
4. Reinstall LastPass
○ Install the LastPass extension again.
○ You can download it from this link: https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php
5. Try again
Greetings!

Hello - thanks for the reply. I've followed these steps as directed. However, after renaming the subfolder and clicking "Save", I still get this error at the top of my browser window:
Hi @Ray Thomas
Thank you for the follow-up and for taking the time to complete the suggested troubleshooting steps. We would like to gather more details about this behavior. Are there any other admins with access to the folder who can attempt to update the name on the subfolder? If so, please ask them to try making the changes. Additionally, have you tried updating any other subfolders within your vault? Please run a test with another folder and subfolder to determine whether the issue is specific to your account or only occurs with the shared folder mentioned.
Thank you.
Hello, I have verified with 2 other admins. Another admin, and a test account I gave admin permissions. Additionally, even if I create a brand new subfolder, I can try to immediately rename it, and I still get that error. I've tried with several subfolders I have access to, and they all lead to the "Invalid Response" error.
