I have used LP for over 10 years and have hundreds of passwords but the version of Lastpass for Safari is broken on 26.5 also same on 26.4
It will not let me save new passwords or when i view my vault from the extension half the notes/URL are missing although Chrome works perfect its just Safari thats broken. I have been onto support for over a month case No 03059810 but still no fix.
Apple said it introduced a fix on 28th April but still not showing in Mac App store in UK or on LP.com
I sent this update to LP customer services after they said this issue had been fixed when it hadn't.
Thank you for the update. The reason your backend team sees this as 'resolved' is likely because they are looking at the new Electron-based Mac App (v2.0+) which features the QuickFill Companion.
However, the public links on your website and the UK Mac App Store are still serving the Legacy Desktop App (1.9.2)and the Legacy Extension (4.151.5), which do not contain the fix.
To resolve this, please provide the direct download link for the new Unified Electron-based DMG (v2.0 or higher). This is the 'Modernized Mac App' your company announced on April 28, 2026. The legacy 1.9.2/4.151.5 versions are definitively broken for Safari 26.4 users, which is why your 'standard' download page is failing me.”
I am using another password manager to save new entries as LP simply is unusable and I need the link to the new app released on 28th April that covers Safari. I think I have waited long enough and to use another password manager when I am paying for LP is insulting.
Can anyone help????
