Remove folders without deleting passwords in them?

I want to remove all of my folders, and move all of my saved passwords to "(None)" (no folder).

Now that I have a lot of saved passwords I've found folders more nuisance than help. I search by name; trying to guess which folder/category I used just wastes time.

I tested deleting a folder with just a few saved passwords and it deleted the passwords. How can I bulk change all my saved passwords to (None) folder? I have far too many saved passwords to manually go into each one and change the folder.

Thanks for this use case!

While there isn't a way to automatically decouple your credentials from folders, you can export everything, then delete the folders, then import again from that same file.

You may do this as an encrypted file, though it may be easier to use a standard CSV file.
