What is passwordless login?

Passwordless login allows you to log in to LastPass (or a feature of LastPass) using a multifactor solution (that is, LastPass Authenticator app, desktop biometrics, or a security key) instead of manually entering your master password every time.

You can leverage passwordless login when logging in to your LastPass vault in either of the following ways:

From a desktop using the LastPass Authenticator app, desktop biometrics (Windows Hello or macOS Touch ID), or a USB security key
From a mobile device, using the device's built-in biometric sensors
