Then it tells me to check my email.. stop it! And what would happen if I was not in a position to do this hoop jumping? No access to my email? what then? Can't use the LP I depend on? What good is your software when you deny my log in? hummmm?
Unknown device or location verification is forced two factor auth to protect your account if your password ever gets stolen. This has been around since 2015, so it's nothing new. See support article linked below for more information, including how to disable the feature if you accept the risk.

thank you for trying to answer. Nope not new, but neither are the computers. Same ones I've logged into every day for years. Why suddenly do they decide one of the computer is Unknown? and again, what if I am not in a position to access the email it is sending to? I can't get into last pass? And therefor none of my passwords? that rather defeats the purpose of using LP.
