The trusted device, only display the devices that you have mark as "Trust this device for the next 30 days" this only happen if you have a multifactor enable in your account, by the time you try to access and LastPass request the MFA you will be able to mark the device as a trusted device and LastPass will not require the MFA the next time you try to log in.

Regarding the "Log in verification email" this email arrived and the verification will be required when the IP address from where you are trying to log in is not on file and has never been used before so for security reasons you will have to allow access.
In case you do not want to have this security option you can also disable this feature from account setting.

But the issue is that no devices are showing for me to mark as "trust this device ...."
I can not figure out how to get i device to show up there so that i am able to mark it as trusted device
Additional factors that may affect your trusted device status:
If the verification continues to be a problem, you may disable the functionality from within the advanced settings of your online LastPass account.
