endless loop on trying to change master pw

Ok, so i changed my master to something else. a few days go by and that Master does not work. Yeah - obviously my fault somehow - but i swear i entered it correctly and made a note in a notebook.

I go in today to change the master - i did as it said and changed it and changed the hint. then it came back and said it had expired - (i'd been only 2-3 minutes, but yet it said it expired.

Now i try again and i says to click to change master - and it just spins. - does not take me to the page to enter new master.

frustrating. and yes (again), i am not a moron, but this is just not working??

Mac OS and using vivaldi browser with extension.

I never received any comments nor help from LogMeIn for my problem in that I have no way to recover nor create a new Master Password.

I solved it and someone should update the Knowledgebase to help "the next guy".

I had my pop ups blocked. When i cleared that and allowed pop ups, i was able to create a new master password.

so - whomever updates the FAQ / Knowledgebase to include that tidbit.

@ikoiko You might have better luck reverting to the last known password:https://support.logmeininc.com/lastpass/help/revert-to-your-previous-master-password

Once you revert you can update the password again. Just make sure to set up some alternate recovery options as well:https://support.logmeininc.com/lastpass/help/how-do-i-set-up-all-account-recovery-options-for-lastpass

thanks for the reply. I tried to revert to original PW and no luck, would not accept it.
