Hello LastPass team,
I’d like to request a one-click “Duplicate item” function for vault entries (logins/secure notes/etc.).
Use case: I often need multiple accounts for the same website. The URL and most fields are the same; I only want to duplicate an existing entry and then change the username/email and password.
Requested behavior:
- Add a clear Duplicate/Duplicate item action on vault items.
- When duplicating, automatically adjust the new item’s title by appending a localized suffix, e.g. “(Kopie)” (or “(copy)”), so it’s immediately obvious it’s the duplicated entry.
- Keep all other fields the same as the original, so I can quickly edit only the credentials.
Why this helps: It reduces mistakes (accidentally editing the original entry), speeds up multi-account setups, and improves overall vault organization.
Reference: Proton Pass already offers a Duplicate action with an automatic “(copy)” suffix in the title, which works very well.
