LastPass icon missing in Firefox toolbar

I am running firefox. Today, everything changed...don't know what happened. I have gotten things back in order (somewhat) but where I used to have the LastPass red icon at the top right, it is no longer there and I cannot seem to get it back. When I was browsing, I could hit the Last Pass icon which would pull up my vault and I could get to my applications. How do I get the red Icon back in place on the top right of my screen. I am minimally computer literate, so please bear with me. Please explain in detail.

Right click where the icon normally should be and select "Customize." If you see the LastPass icon anywhere on that page, simply click on the icon, and while holding your left mouse button, drag the icon back to the toolbar.

If the LastPass icon is not there, then the extension was uninstalled, and should be reinstalled. This can be easily done through the add-on store:

I had the same problem. When I looked in Add-Ons, Firefox said it was installed, but the toolbar icon wasn't present. I clicked on the Extensions icon (the jigsaw piece), then clicked on the gear icon (settings) for LastPass, then ticked the Pin to Toolbar checkbox, and the icon was back.

LastPass toolbar icon is absent from Firefox's toolbar area (version 140.0.2 Win x64).

1) The extension is installed and enabled.

2) When I click the [...] button next to the enable/disable switch of the extension, there's no "pin to toolbar" option.

3) When I go to Customize Toolbar, LP icon is not to be found there.

4) Tried reinstalling the extension.

Everything to no avail. I think I'll just scrape the whole thing altogether as it's currently perfectly useless.

In a scenario where the browser still may have personalized settings active, you may try re-installing Firefox from scratch, then re-installing LastPass.
