msg saying to check for an email which no longer arrives. It arrived before and I verified but nothing happened. I am trying to export my passwords as I'm so fed up with LastPass but after I receive the email, I have to login again and request an export again and nothing happens. I am stuck in this loop!!! I cannot contact Support directly because I don't have a Premium account and this is the exact reason I stopped paying for a service that doesn't work!!! Is anyone able to help please? By the way - this is not an answer but the rest of my question which I could not finish .....

I am sorry about the issues you are having when trying to export your vault. I have checked the information about the emails recently sent to your email address but everything shows as delivered. Please be sure to check all folders including junk/spam.
