Making account more secure always fails at 99%

Question

​ I've noticed this for a while and it happens quite often. When I log into LastPass I get shown a screen with a logo of a blue lock and below it some text that says “We're making your account more secure".  There is a progress bar that progresses until it gets to about 98% or 99% and then I get an error message. Do I need to do anything to make work once and for all?

@sacedric​  That looks like it may be related to your account iterations or vault encryption.  Often you may be able to finalize the process through an alternate web browser.

I just tried using LastPass with Edge for the first time ever and I logged and didn't get the prompt to ​improve the security on my account. It just logged into the vault.

We will need to make an investigation to better understand the issue. I will recommend you create a support case so one of our support agents can help you to find a solution for this behavior. You can create the support case using the steps below:

From your LastPass vault, go to the top right corner click on your email address

Click on Support center

Top right corner clicks on "Loging to Support"

Then Click on "Contact US"

You will be able to choose the best option for you, A callback request or a Support case.
