Reuse adjust - causing duplicated passwords

Reviewing my security dashboard results to improve things and noticed recently that for Reuse accounts this seems to be popping up on some recently changed passwords. However the new password seems to also be showing up on another account with the same password even though I hadn't changed this. So technically the vault sees it as reuse even though the other was never changed.

This seems maybe some form of browser / caching issue of some type or dealing with with unspecified passwords (i.e., possible accounts authenticated with other methods - Google, Facebook, etc..

Has anyone else has had a similar problem and if so what's the solution to it.

I am sorry about the issues you are having. Can you please follow these steps and test if the same issue persists after each of them:

1. Clear cookies and cache of your browser

2. Clear local data and refresh the sites of your browser extension, to do this:

a. While logged in to LastPass, click the active LastPass icon in your web browser toolbar.

b. Select Account at the bottom of the menu, then select Fix a Problem Yourself> Clear Local Data

c. Follow the steps a and b, but now click on refresh sites instead

3. If you still have the same issue, please remove the browser extension. Right click on the extension icon and click on remove from <Browser name>

4. Download and install the browser extension from: https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php

5. Once reinstalled, please log in and try again

6. Try from a different browser, it is best if there are no other extensions installed besides LastPass to test

7. Test it from the web version of LastPass: https://lastpass.com/?ac=1&lpnorefresh=1

8. Try it from an incognito/In private browser window
