I reset and forgot my master password

Hello,

I have tried various methods to login, my mobile number is receiving the codes, but I am unable to login. I have a free account, and yes even if I tried to purchase, I cannot simply because I cannot login since I forgot my master password..... can anybody from LastPass help me with this to recover my passwords stored? please say so...I really do not want to move to another service, but the website and systems in place do not help me.... what can I do to recover my account? you already have my mobile and email to verify me....

Any advice?

Thank you for trying to help but honestly I am unable to login. My main password (master) is composed of a lot of characters and while I checked via notepad or etc... i cannot go through. Is there not any way in which I can reset it and validate via SMS/email? if not I will just let it go and that's it.... only reason was for some passwords that were stored, but please tell me there is a solution..... if not it's ok, I will just move on to another password app ...

I cannot believe that I cannot reset my password, while I provided my mobile number, my email address... surely there must be something you can do..

PS: if you can reset my password from earlier this year, that one I know for sure....

I already tried with previous password, and no result. I know the password was change a couple of times, and it is my fault. However I am lost as I have no way to reset my password via either SMS or email ... and I do not see any option, even if I am willing to pay for advance service, I cannot even do that so what are my options to recover my access 😞 ?

Yes and the message was:

Please enter a valid username or one-time password.

If you are confident you are entering valid information, contact your LastPass administrator or LastPass support. One-time login may be restricted by your organization.bear in mind this was tried multiple times and SMS code was confirmed....hence the frustrationPS I am not part of any organization, this is a private account

I'm sorry this has happened to you. One option is if you remember your prior master password you could revert it if you have changed it in the last 30 days.

Well if I do this it would be like I am making a new account; the purpose of my question was if I can get back my access, since I can confirm my Identity via SMS, via email etc.... if I would reset I would start from zero so that would be of no help to me.... of course I can reset my other passwords stored, but ideally I would have liked to get my access back, and I am even willing to pay for a subscription but there is no option for me.

Honestly I would move to 1password if this is the support I can receive.... it is just annoying me to hell, as I stored a lot of passwords but w/e I can refresh them...

Just checking to see if you have tried to revert your master password to an old one.

You can also try the account recovery option to reset your master password.

If you cannot get in under either of these methods then you will have to do an account reset. The instructions are listed below.

Reviewing your account more closely and it doesn't look like you have any recovery one time passcodes. This would mean that you cannot recover your account at this time. You did reset your password twice in early August so I would try to revert your master password and test that out.

One option for testing your master password is to type it out in a word doc to visualize that you are putting it in correctly and then past it into LastPass.

If none of these options work then your last option is to reset your account.
