How to share sites securely?

My son and I plan to sign up to a website where we will be storing lots of valuable digital assets. I want my son(who doesnt live with me and will soon be in a different country) to have equal access to this. For security reasons I want to be able to store the password and log in in the last pass vault. I also use 2FA(google authenticator) for my access to last pass. I'm a premium last pass user. Do i need to upgrade? Can 2fa be used on more than one authenticator?

I'm not sure about shared folders (are they as secure and do they need 2fa etc?)

What do i need to do to set this up to be secure, accessible for both of us and still use 2FA?(or some other way of securing it with an extra level of security)

Hello,

The easiest way would be to share the site credentials to your son using LastPass' sharing option. Your son would also need a LastPass account, and you then share the desired items from your Vault to his account. Once you share the item/a folder with his account he can log in to those sites using the shared credentials by using his own LastPass account. Please note that shared folders do not have MFA/2FA, multifactor authentication is only used when logging in to your account but if you use the sharing option thenyour son would use whatever multifactor option he has enabled for his account to log in to LastPass and then access those shared credentials.
