Authenticator requres login to Lastpass to link; But Lastpass requires Authenticator to even open.

Hi everyone -

I've installed both lastpass and authenticator on a new iphone 14. After successfully logging into Lastpass with Master Password, am prompted to enter verification code from Authenticator. When I open Authenticator, am directed to login to LastPass first to restore the connection. But when I try to login to LastPass at that point, I'm back to needing to enter verification code, and so on, and so on ad infineitum

I've tried deleting and reinstalling both apps, but to no avail. Locked out of most of my life as a result.

p.s. forgot to mention - tried sending SMS and calling, but neither work.
