Can still login with current one. This also happened about a year ago and was told it was BS... Thanks for any information.

Thank you for the post.
LastPass will notify the users of any changes that need to happen to the account prior to making the changes. We sent a communication email at the beginning of the year you needed to update the master password if the complexity was not met. Otherwise, the system will trigger the change on the screen.
Please, beware of any emails received that do not match our procedures, we have received recent reports of phishing, if you have additional questions in regards of your account, please, submit a ticket to our support team, via the portal for them to assist.
