I am unable to change my master password, because it is not accepting my current one, I am however able to log in to lastpass with no problems

Thank you for your help. I was able to get in on a different browser, set up my phone for backup purposes, then was able to reset my pw that way.

Welcome to the LastPass Community!

I would suggest trying to login on a different browser or incognito window to LastPass to verify that the correct master password was use. Once this will be check maybe try on that other browser or window to make the change of your master password, make sure you are typing the password does not copy and paste it.

Hey there --

I'll also add, that you must make the new password long enough (12+ characters in length).  Try adding some more characters if the update won't save.
