Typing (character echo) lag when logging in to vault from browser

For weeks, after launching the LastPass browser extension (Microsoft Edge browser on Windows 11 Insider Canary track), the characters I type in the "search my vault" field are not echoed for several seconds. I haven't fully-characterized this issue, but I am curious if this is a known problem.
