Lastpass keep me logged in after browser close

Question

We use Lastpass Enterprise with a policy enabled: when closing the browser LP logs off.

In our office we use Edge and Chrome with LP Extensions.

In Edge it works fine but in Chrome (extension version 4.132.0) the option is unchecked and greyed out at the extension settings (first option at tab General).

Users cannot change it because of the policy but it should be set to enabled in my opinion.

This issue came up since last week, probably the bug is in the lastest version.

Can this be fixed for the extension of Chrome?

Ok, I'm sure all you enterprise folks have a more complicated problem than me, but I found out my issue was that my Firefox settings were set to Always Use Private Browsing Mode or some other privacy setting that cleared everything out every time I closed the browser. Once I changed those settings, things worked fine. Good luck!

My company has the same issue. Weirdly enough, we found that what was keeping it logged into chrome was the google chat app. Even though the google chat app isn't a chrome browser, it was for some reason acting like it? Once we closed that and then closed chrome, it logged out. But if we keep the google chat app open, lastpass stays logged in. I'm not sure if this applies to everyone, but try closing your other apps to find if one of them is keeping lastpass logged in.

As of 15/09/2024 this is still not solved (Opera extension, LastPass Families).  This is a major security threat and should have been solved immediately.
